Follow these simple steps to create your first transcript.
1. Upload Your File
Navigate to the Dashboard and click the New Transcription button. You can upload your media in three ways:
- Drag and Drop: Simply drag your audio or video file into the upload area.
- Select a File: Click the upload box to open your file browser.
- Import from Cloud: Click the Google Drive or Dropbox icon to import a file directly from your cloud storage.

2. Select Your Language and Options
Once your file uploads, you will see a settings menu:
- Language: scribeme.ai automatically detects over 100 languages, but you can manually select the spoken language for maximum accuracy.
- Speaker Detection: Toggle this on if your audio has multiple speakers (like an interview or meeting).
- AI Summary: Check this box to generate a quick executive summary alongside your transcript.
Click Start Transcription.
3. Review the Result
Most files take less than a minute to process. Once complete, you will be taken to the Interactive Editor.
Here, the audio is synced directly with your text. Click any word to hear that exact moment in the recording.
